The famous Barrett-Jackson auction recently sold a vintage 1950 General Motors Futurliner Parade of Progress Tour Bus for an unbelievable $4,320,000!
According to Barrett-Jackson’s website…
“One of 12 built by GM, a self-contained display and transport vehicle created by the GM design staff under Harley Earl’s direction. Opening side, lighting, retractable stage, distinctive center “cupola” cockpit driving position and dual wheel front axle.
Used in the “Parade of Progress” touring exhibit created by “Boss” Kettering that complemented the GM “Motoramas” from 1940 through 1956. One of only threeFuturliner survivors restored in their original “Parade of Progress” configuration (the others are in long term ownership by NATMUS and Peter Pan Bus Lines), this Futurliner is fully functional and has toured Canada in corporate promotions. Recently returned to its original “Parade of Progress” configuration and colors. Powered by a 400ci GM truck engine and fully equipped including an onboard motor-generator and updated air conditioning for the driver’s compartment. A matchless symbol of the American auto industry at the height of its power and influence.”

The other day I was out with my wife and kids and we came across this very cool Audi TT in Castle Rock.
I didn’t get a chance to meet the owner and driver of this hot ride, but I did get my boys Conroy and Corban to strike a pose for a Cool Car Shot photo. This TT was a coupe, but it is also available as a roadster convertible and in AWD as well.
There are two engines available in the TT, including a very smooth 3.2-liter V6 and a 4 cylinder turbo. The ride is stiff and less sporty than a Porsche Boxster, but this is a very cool car and priced less than the Porsche.
A few years ago I purchased a highly customized Mazda Miata from a professional soccer player here in Denver. He replaced his Miata with an Audi TT and he loved it.
For 2006, Audi introduced an Audi TT Coupe 250 hp Special Edition starting at around $42,000. With a 250 hp, DSG® transmission, quattro® all-wheel drive and bi-color exterior paint, only 99 of this unique Special Edition TT Coupe are being produced.

Hey Cool Car Fans,
The other day, fellow Auto Broker Mr. Tim Kerr, pulled up in his sporty silver Nissan 350Z. I grabbed a couple of shots of Tim’s ride before he headed out to play a round of golf. 
According to Tim, this is one of the coolest cars he’s owned. He said that it drives like a dream. Not only that, but his lease payment allows him to drive this cool car for under $300 a month.
I think that Tim is driving a very cool four star car, especially with Nissan’s chain driven engine and superb transmission.
