Cool Car Shot – Robbie’s 2003 Mustang GT
Hey Cool Car Fans,
Yesterday, I had a guy send me photos of his 2003 Mustang GT that he asked me to help him trade on another Mustang that I have on consignment.
The photos were very well done and his 2003 Mustang GT looked extremely clean and in great shape, so I decided to post them here at CoolCarGuy.com for you to check out.
Here’s a run down on the 2003 Mustang GT and this one in particular…

If you’re interested in checking out this vehicle let me know and I’ll track Robbie down and see what he wants for it.

This could be a great vehicle for someone who is looking for a great Mustang without having to pay a fortune for a new one or the older 1960′s body style.
It’s well equipped and the price range on these varies dramatically depending on condition and features. In this case, he has a killer sound system built into the trunk of the vehicle. You can see it in the photo below, so that’s one less expense you’ll have to spend on tricking this vehicle out.
The Mustang also gets pretty good gas mileage for the amount of horsepower that it’s pushing. You should expect around 18 in the city and 24 – 26 on the highway. It’s hard to find that kind of fuel economy in a

performance vehicle, but this 4.6l V8 delivers pretty good gas mileage for the amount of power under the hood. It looks great too!

I spend around $50,000 a year repairing vehicles, from putting in new batteries, new tires, brakes, to major repairs. I have had to put money into rebuilding a transmission on a Lexus with 110,000 miles and I’ve seen Ford Explorers with 225,000 miles that were still running without serious issues. So for me, the bias is out the window, except that there are a few select vehicles (Land Rover, early 2000 – 2003 VW Passats) and a few others that you will spend way more money on average repairing them than other models. I like to tell people that there are some vehicles you want to own and others you definitely want to lease.
When you get into these little late model four banger engines though, you shouldn’t have any more problems with a Ford or Chevy than a Toyota or Honda. Yahoo Auto’s pointed this out today in an article called
Here are some cool photos of a 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra that came into
CURB WEIGHT: 3,506 lbs
The Mustang came back with it’s sporty look in 1995, but most of the vehicles at that time were V6 motors and the smaller Pony versions like I featured in a post a couple months ago. The Mustang GT, came with a 4.6-liter V-8 that had 225 horsepower under the hood in the late nineties, the same number of horses as are in my smaller four-cylinder 2007 Subaru WRX turbo.
4.6 liter V-8 engine with 32 valves and a growl that makes the driver get excited that the vehicle is ready to burn up the pavement.
Not only did this sweet convertible come with a cool factor from the factory, but the original owner had equipped it with a $4,000 sound system, so that they could hear their favorite music with the top down at any speed. As I recall, it even has a remote control for the sound system, so that they could park the Mustang outside and provide the music for any outdoor event with the ignition turned to the accessory position.
These are photos of a very cool 2006 Ford Mustang Pony that came into
Pony grille with chrome bezel and fog lamps, rear spoiler, 17″” painted cast aluminum wheel w/bright machined rim, Z-branded A/S tires & tri-bar pony center cap. It’s only an $1,195 option, but it adds some character to the Mustang for sure. This baby has the cool blue and white paint job to go along with it and really low miles.
